This was an invited talk presented at the Photographers’ Gallery symposium Post-Capitalist Photography Now!. The symposium featured Nina Power, Ben Burbridge, Mike Cook, Taous R Dahmani, Constant Dullaart, Rowan Lear, Emily Rosamond, Harry Sanderson, Katrina Sluis, Kuba Szreder, and myself.
